About the Speaker
David Chromy
MD PhD
Medical University of Vienna
Dr. David Chromy started his training in 2017 at the Medical University of Vienna and, since 2024, is working as a board-certified specialist in Dermatology and Venereology. He has published several papers on HIV/HCV-coinfection, HIV prevention and STI epidemiology. In 2022, he was awarded a fellowship to work for one year on a research project on high-resolution anoscopy and anal cancer prevention at the University Hospital Essen, Germany. He also first authored the recently published German-Austrian guidelines on anal cancer prevention in people with HIV and established high-resolution anoscopy at the Medical University of Vienna.
