Fernando Dias Goncalves Lima, MD
Research Physician

MD and PhD candidate in the Pathology and Dermatology department at Amsterdam UMC. His PhD research focuses on biomarkers in anal cancer screening, with a particular emphasis on methylation markers. Fernando is the coordinating researcher of the MARINE study, a large cohort study aimed at validating methylation markers in people with anal dysplasia. In addition to his research, he is a skilled high-resolution anoscopist and conducted weekly clinics.
