Teresa M. Darragh, MD

Teresa Darragh, MD is an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco. She is board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Cytopathology and was an attending colposcopist in UCSF’s Dysplasia Clinic for 25 years. Dr. Darragh’s primary clinical and research interests are focused on HPV-associated anogenital tract disease. She is Past President of the ASCCP and co-chaired the LAST Project on standardizing terminology for HPV-associated squamous lesions of the lower anogenital tract.
Dr. Darragh has provided pathology review for multiple research studies including the ANCHOR study, NCI’s Costa Rica Vaccine Trial, and IARC’s ESTAMPA study. She is a member of WHO’s Living Systematic Review Guideline Development Group for Screening and Treatment (Screen and Treat) to Prevent Cervical Cancer and the Enduring Consensus Cervical Cancer Screening and Management Guidelines in the United States.
