I am a Professor of Public Health Sciences, SmartState Distinguished Endowed Chair, and Co-Leader of the Cancer Control Program at the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). My research centers on advancing anal cancer screening through data-driven risk stratification and mathematical modeling to inform screening eligibility and optimize screening strategies. My research focuses on generating evidence to inform cancer screening strategies, including riskstratification to identify high-priority populations and mathematical modeling to determine optimal screening algorithms.
