Dr. David Chromy began his training in 2017 at the Medical University of Vienna and has been a board-certified specialist in Dermatology and Venereology since 2024. He has published several papers on epidemiological dynamics of sexually transmitted infections in people living with and without HIV. In 2023, he moved to Germany to work for 1 year with Prof. Stefan Esser and Prof. Alexander Kreuter and was trained in HRA. In 2024, David Chromy established HRA at the Medical University of Vienna and he coordinated an first-authored the German-Austrian Guidelines for Anal Cancer Screening. Since 2025, he has also been part of the IANS European task force and an IANS member at large.
