Dr Jenny Roberts is a histopathologist and cytopathologist, who has specialised in the diagnosis of HPV-associated disease of the anogenital region for more than 30 years. She was the lead pathologist in the SPANC study and other anal neoplasia studies in Sydney over the last 15 years. Jenny was a member of the IANS Guidelines for Anal Cancer Screening Task Force and also co-authored Australia's recent Guidelines for Anal Cancer Screening in People Living with HIV. Jenny is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Kirby Institute, University of NSW, Sydney and is focusing on further guidelines development, establishment of a national targeted anal cancer screening program in Australia, evaluation of new technologies in screening and delivering educational resources to clinicians and laboratory professionals.
