Richard Gilson is Professor of Sexual Health and HIV Medicine in the UCL Centre for Clinical Research in Infection and Sexual Health (CCRISH). Previous work has included studies of the epidemiology of HPV in MSM, which supported the case for a national targeted vaccine programme, and clinical trials of wart treatments. He has a longstanding interest in blood-borne virus infections, investigating both treatment and prevention strategies.
